Azza Baatout

Azza Baatout holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from TU Darmstadt and is currently completing her M.Sc. in Data Engineering & Analytics at the Technical University of Munich as a visiting student researcher at Stanford. In the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, she is developing short-term probabilistic photovoltaic (PV) power forecasts using computer vision models and statistical techniques applied to all-sky images, satellite imagery, and time-series PV data. Azza combines a background in software engineering with a strong focus on computer vision applications in interdisciplinary fields.
